Wake County Public Schools offers a FREE online SAT Prep Course.

All Wake County High School Students may register to take advantage of this free offer. The program is called the "Official SAT Online Course."

Instructions for registering are as follows:
Go to: satonlinecourseschool.collegeboard.com Make sure you bookmark the URL. If you just go to collegeboard.com, the site will ask you to pay for the course.

Under the Students section, click on "Register Now."

You will be asked to enter your school code. If you do not have the school code, please Mrs. Drabot in Student Services before school, after school or during lunch  to receive an online course student registration card, which displays the school code.
The next screen that appears gives you two options. If you have previously registered with College Board for any reason, you are already a member. Members should already have a password and should use the left side of the screen to proceed. Everyone else should use the right side of the screen to begin the registration process to become members.

Click on "Sign Up " in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

The next screen will ask you to "Tell us about yourself." Choose "I am a student" and click "Submit."

The next screen has three sections that need to be completed.

Step 1 "Enter Information." All fields with a red asterisk need to be completed.

Step 2 "Select username and password." Note that the username must be 6-15 characters and the passwords must have between 7 and 15 characters and at least one must be a number. It is STRONGLY suggested that you use all lower case. Also, it might be helpful if you use the same username and password that you use here at school. Whatever username and password you choose, make sure you write it down and keep it in a place where you can access it easily.

Step 3 "Connect to College Board Services." Remember you are registering online and who knows what you'll get if you leave the boxes checked. Click "Submit" in the lower right corner of the page.

Step 4 complete the registration by choosing a class. Choose "Independent study" from the drop down menu. Click "Submit." Congratulations for a successful registration!
