WAKE CAPITAL AWARDS

This Year's Wake County Capital Awards will be held on Monday May 19 at Memorial Auditorium. This program is designed to showcase the best talent in Wake County through an awards show much like the Tony Awards for Broadway. Come Support the Millbrook Wildcats and their Production of The Wiz.
 
Tickets are now on sale! Tickets are $15 each and will not be sold at the door. See Ms. Bender in the chorus room to buy your tickets or email your order to mbender@wcpss.net

Attention Juniors!  Learn and Earn Online is a dual credit program that awards high school and college credit to students attending public schools in North Carolina.  Students may take courses from any of the 45 participating NC Community Colleges or UNC Greensboro's iSchool Program. Any course through Learn and Earn will be taken on Millbrook High School's campus during one of the regular blocks (2008-2009).  Please set up an appointment to speak with your counselor asap.  Please visit the website for more information- http://www.ncpublicschools.org/learnandearnonline/ .

Students who stay for tutoring may ride the tutoring bus that will leave Millbrook at 4:45pm


Biology tutoring - Tuesdays in Room 2501 from 2:30 - 4:45
English I (9th grade English) - Wednesdays in Room 216 from 2:30 - 4:45

Spring Semester Freshman Homework Help Sessions

NCVPS Registration Information / Spring 2008

On Wednesday, November 7th a list of all North Carolina Virtual Public School spring block courses will be posted on the NCVPS website (www.ncvps.org).  Students should consult with their counselor and parents about course selection.  All students should review the “Characteristics of Successful On-line Learners” information.  The deadline to register is December 14, 2007.  Students wishing to register for a NCVPS on-line course should complete the following steps in order to be considered:

  1. Consult with their parents and counselor
  2. Fill out the registration form located in Student Services (parents and counselor must sign)
  3. Turn into Mr. Coates in Student Services
