Attention students and parents:  Millbrook High School is provided an after-school activity bus for students who attend extracurricular activities or tutoring sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  The bus picks up students in the bus parking lot at approximately 5:00 pm on those days.  Beginning on Tuesday, April 15, students who wish to ride will need to have an official activity bus pass signed by the staff member they stayed with that afternoon along with the reason they stayed. Students who do not have this pass will not be allowed to ride the bus for any reason.  Students who do not stay after school for these activities will need to get on their regular bus or find alternative transportation.

Millbrook High School is looking for volunteers to mentor students. MHS has a variety of mentor programs that assist students with skills such as academic work, confidence, leadership, life skills, relationships, and preparing for their future. Many of our programs could use volunteers to enhance their missions. Tutors for the core academic subjects are in high demand. If you think that you could help, please click on the link “Where Can Millbrook Students go for Extra Support?” or look at the mentoring tab under academics. Volunteers must be approved after a background check, which can be taken care of at the front office. For more information contact, DeAnna Miller-Wooden, Lead Graduation Coach for Communities In Schools of Wake County and Coordinator of the Uplift Mentoring Program at dmiller-wooden@wcpss.net or Vanessa Barnes, Dean of Students at vbarnes@wcpss.net.
