Attention Juniors!  Learn and Earn Online is a dual credit program that awards high school and college credit to students attending public schools in North Carolina.  Students may take courses from any of the 45 participating NC Community Colleges or UNC Greensboro's iSchool Program. s Volunteers Sign Up On New Computerized System - When school opens this year, schools will be asking volunteers to sign up on new computerized systems. Persons who volunteer in the schools will be asked to provide information and to select the types of volunteer activities in which they are interested.Volunteers will be encouraged to use a school computer to register. Persons unable to do that may download an application from the Internet. The applications can be updated at any time.

NEW STUDENT INFORMATION
The registration forms are attached for your convenience.  Please read the "Welcome Letter" for registration requirements.  By completing the forms in advance, this will save time in the registration process.
 
Summer Hours are 8:00 - 4:00 PM
12:00 - 1:00 Closed for Lunch
Summer Registration Hours are 9:00 - 2:30 PM

Parents will need to call 850-8807 to make a registration appointment.

What to Bring:

  • A certified copy of the student's birth certificate.
  • Proof of residence in the form of a current electric, city gas or city water bill, signed lease agreement or closing statement in the name of the parent(s) or court-appointed guardian with a closing date within 45 days (telephone, cable television bills and driver's licenses do not qualify).
  • Immunization records.
  • If coming from another school system, a completed Discipline Status Enrollment form is required. A copy of the child's latest report card and the previous year's achievement test results are helpful.

Graduation Requirements

Courses of Study - Graduation Requirements
Beginning with students entering the ninth grade for the first time in 2000-2001, all course credits and test requirements of at least one Course of Study must be met for a student to earn a high school diploma. The Courses of Study are designed to prepare students for post-secondary opportunitiy from entry level career options to highly technical fields, from community college to colleges and universities. Students are encouraged to pursue the most challenging course of study in which they can be successful.
