| The PSAT will be given at Millbrook High School on Wednesday, October 17th during the 1st and 2nd block. The test will be administered to all sophomores free of charge. Juniors and other students wishing to take the PSAT must pay $14 and register at http://osp.osmsinc.com/wakenc. Registration will close on Wednesday, October 3rd. The only time that a student can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Competition is by taking the test as a junior. Questions should be directed to Student Services. |

| Students registered for AP courses are reminded to complete summer assignments. A listing of summer assignments is available on the website. Also, if you have decided not to continue in an AP course for the 2012-2013 school year, you must drop the course by having a parent/guardian email Mrs. Vanessa Barnes, Dean of Students (vbarnes@wcpss.net) by July 31, 2012. If the course is not dropped, students are making the commitment to continue with the course for the entire academic year.. |
