Volunteers
Parent
volunteers are always needed and welcome! Areas of special need
are:
Fundraiser
Coordinators: Set up and facilitate the various
fundraisers throughout the year. Without parent involvement several
fundraisers may be cancelled!
Pit
Crew: Assists in the set up and removal of props and pit instruments
on the field. Loads/unloads instruments.
Chaperones: Come to competitions and assist the marchers in preparing for their
performance. Cheer them on!
Band Camp
All participants
in MHS Marching Band MUST attend Band Camp and remit forms and
fees. Any conflicts with
the Band Camp Schedule must be cleared with Mr. McMahan. Wear
athletic shoes--NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS. Bring your instrument,
water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat. You may bring a bag lunch or
leave campus for food. The Bandstand will be open selling soft drinks,
bottled water, cookies, & candy.

Uniforms
Shoes
As usual, all Marching Band students will be required to
wear the regulation band shoes with their uniforms. If your last
year's shoes still fit, you may use them. If you are new to the
band or
just need to buy new shoes, the cost last year was $25 and the
first day of Band Camp you will be told of any price increase.
The shoes run true to size, so please know your shoe size. Shoe sales
and orders must be completed by Friday of Band Camp. Payment
by check only should be make payable to Millbrook Band Boosters.
