How To Get Involved

Millbrook High School is dedicated in assisting in the development of each and every student in the areas of academic, personal, career, and social growth. This important task cannot be done alone. Through you we can create the opportunity to collaborate with area businesses and our community to achieve this task. Your time, experience and knowledge will be a substantial benefit to our school, community and most importantly to our students. We welcome you to contribute your valuable time and support to various activities. You can create an enormous amount of opportunities for student success. We are always open to new ideas or suggestions on how to link the student to school-to-career.

    Career Fair
    Friday, March 9th, 2007

    General Information for the Career Fair:

    • It will be held on Friday, March 9th, 2007 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. 
    • All participants may begin setting up at 8:00 am and break down their sessions at 2:30 pm
    • The fair will be held in the gymnasium at MHS.

  • Job Shadow: November 8, 2006: Volunteer Form [doc]
    • Job Shadow Professional Evaluation Form
      General Information for the Job Shadow:
      • It will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 from 9 am – 12 pm.
      • The Student(s) will meet the business professional at their business office.
      • The Student(s) will shadow the business professional from about 9 am – 12 pm in order to learn about a typical day and about the education and training needed to for the specific job.
      • The professional will sign off on a participation form once the student has completed the job shadow for that day and return it to the student.
      • The professional will complete an evaluation and return it to the student and/or the CDC after the job shadow experience.
