To be eligible for tryouts, practice, or participation in interscholastic
athletic contests, a player must meet all North Carolina High School
Athletic Association (NCHSAA) and Wake County Public School System
(WCPSS) eligibility requirements and policies:
- Must not participate
if he/she becomes 19 years of age on or before October 16th of
current school year.
- Must follow NCHSAA rules which have a 85% attendance
requirement (approximately 13.5 days) for the previous semester
and includes all absences.
- WCPSS requires the athlete to be present the entire
day in order to participate in activities or practices.
- Must meet promotion requirements at their school to
be eligible for the fall semester.
- Must earn passing grades in three
subjects for block schedule schools during each semester in order
to be eligible for
participation
during the succeeding semester.
- WCPSS also requires a cumulative overall grade point
average of 1.5 or above.
- Must participate
at the school to which he or she is assigned and must live with
the parents or legal guardian.
- Must be a properly enrolled student in a member school
of the WCPSS district, must be enrolled no later than the 15th
day of the present semester, and must be in regular attendance
at that school.
- Must receive a medical
examination once every 365 days by a duly licensed physician,
nurse practitioner, or physician’s
assistant.
- Must be released by a licensed physician if absent from
athletic practice for five or more days due to illness or injury.
- May not participate in practice or play if assigned
to In-School Suspension (ISS) or Out-of-school Suspension (OSS).
- May not participate at a second school in WCPSS in the
same sport season.

Playoff Updates |
Tuesday, May 8th, The men's lax team will host Holly Springs at 7pm in Wildcat Stadium. We won our first ever state play-off game Friday night in the final 3 minutes in an unbelievable finish.
Tuesday, May 8th, The men's golf team qualified for regional play at Raleigh Country Club at 9am. Go get them Coach Herndon!!
Wednesday, May 9th, The women's soccer team will host a first round game. The brackets come out soon. Time is TBD. Hopefully around 6:00. Probable opponent is Richmond County.
Friday, May 11th, The softball and baseball teams will both have first round games. Time and sites are TBD. Brackets are out on Wednesday.
Friday May 11th and Saturday, May 12th, The NCHSAA tennis individual state championship is at Millbrook Exchange park at 9am. Cap-8 champs and regional finalists will lead the way for a doubles trophy coming back to Millbrook. Chris Mahan, Sean Carmean, Ricky Meyers, and Brad Meyers will lead the way. We thank Coach Scott Wofford for all of his hard work bringing this team together! |

.... who coached the East team in the Jordan Brand Classic, a tournament that showcases "The Legends of Tomorrow Playing Today." TheMcInnes' roster included talent like Rodney Purvis, Brice Johnson and Gary Harris, all of whom will play Division I NCAA basketball next year. |
| The JBC Tournament boasts notable alumni Carmello Anthony, LeBron James, Blake Griffin and Tyler Hansbrough. Coach McInnes selected Millbrook Associate Head Coach, Chris Davis, to serve as the assistant coach for the East team. Both Coach McInnes and Coach Davis met Michael Jordan during the JBC, which Davis says was a highlight of the weekend. |

The Millbrook Varsity girls soccer team is 15-0! , currently ranked #8 in the nation according to ESPN. We have two home games left this regular season, please come out and support these outstanding players.
