Personal bio:
Originally, I am from Whiteville, N.C. I am licensed in three teaching areas: Special Education, Physical Education, and Social Studies. I have taught in all three areas and in Wake County for twenty years. I worked at North Carolina State University as Academic Coordinator for Men's Basketball from 1987-1992. I worked for The V Foundation for Cancer Research at its inception. In my free time, I enjoy running, spending time at the beach in the summer and on weekends in the Spring and Fall, watching college sports and the NFL, and I enjoy sleeping. I am a HUGE N.C. State fan and attend football, basketball, and baseball events. My favorite NFL team is the Chargers!! I have two dogs--Sunny and Caffee, a horse--Genesis, and a former stray cat--Tiger Lily. I also love to see students achieve and enjoy their school life. |

Personal bio : I was born and raised in Swansboro, North Carolina. I attended East Carolina University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Psychology. I taught two years at JH Rose High School before moving to Raleigh in 2000. While at Millbrook, I have coached cheerleading and served on various committees. I currently teach In-Class Resource classes in English 11 and Algebra 1. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading books, painting houses, and spending quality time with my family and cats (LadyBug and Graylynn).

Jay Stainback
Jay Stainback is a teacher assistant in the OCS (Occupational Course of Study) Program. Mr. Stainback has worked in this capacity for 7 years. He also teaches Driver's Education. Mr. Stainback was named Wake County's Driving Instructor of the Year in 2005.
Mr. Stainback graduated from Sanderson High School in 1983. He graduated from Pembroke State University in 1987 with a BS in Math. |
