Personal Bio : Nephitearya Bailey began
teaching at Millbrook in 2005. Originally
from Wilmington, NC, she graduated from Meredith
College with a B.A. in History and a minor
in Theater. While in college, she traveled
throughout Europe and Africa and loves to
use her pictures in her lessons. Ms. Bailey
is the co-advisor for the Model United Nations
club and teaches World History in the Wildcat
Academy.

Personal bio: Gene Kikolski began
teaching at Millbrook in 1993. Originally
from Toledo, Ohio, he graduated from the
University of Toledo in 1965 and earned a
Master’s Degree in 1968 from the same
university. Mr. Kikolski teaches AP Economics,
AP Government & Politics, and US History.
He received his National Board for Professional
Teaching Standards credential in 1999.

Personal bio: LOV/RIR and Honors U.S. History teacher Ms. Lindy Poling is a strong supporter of the “Community-in-the-Classroom” approach and has contributed to a variety of national publications. In 2004, Ms. Poling was one of 20 teachers nationwide chosen for the USA Today All-USA Teacher First Team. She was recently recognized as the 2006 North Carolina History Teacher of the Year and 2007 National History Club Advisor of the Year. Brian Schneidewind

Personal bio: Mr. Schneidewind was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan where he went on to attend Michigan State University. He also coached track and field, cross county and soccer while in Michigan. He enjoys traveling, the outdoors and music.
Personal bio: Valerie Schreiber has
been teaching at MHS since the fall of 1999. She
is a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. She
received her National Board certification in
2005. Ms. Schreiber teaches Civics
and Economics and Honors Law and Justice and
currently serves as advisor for Student Government.
