Personal Bio : Nephitearya Bailey began teaching at Millbrook in 2005. Originally from Wilmington, NC, she graduated from Meredith College with a B.A. in History and a minor in Theater. While in college, she traveled throughout Europe and Africa and loves to use her pictures in her lessons. Ms. Bailey is the co-advisor for the Model United Nations club and teaches World History in the Wildcat Academy.

Personal bio: Matt Crawley teaches U.S. History and Psychology/Sociology.  A former Millbrook student and graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Mr. Crawley fervently supports the Tar Heels.  He has taught at Millbrook since 2002.  Mr. Crawley is also the advisor for Sophomore Class Council.  Outside of school, his number one priority is spending time with his beautiful wife, Lisa.

Personal bio: LOV/RIR and Honors U.S. History teacher Ms. Lindy Poling is a strong supporter of the “Community-in-the-Classroom” approach and has contributed to a variety of national publications. In 2004, Ms. Poling was one of 20 teachers nationwide chosen for the USA Today All-USA Teacher First Team.  She was recently recognized as the 2006 North Carolina History Teacher of the Year and 2007 National History Club Advisor of the Year.  Ms. Poling is the advisor for the nationally acclaimed student-produced Bridges Newsletter. Personal bio: Valerie Schreiber has been teaching at MHS since the fall of 1999.   She is a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.   She received her National Board certification in 2005.   Ms. Schreiber teaches Civics and Economics and Honors Law and Justice and currently serves as advisor for Student Government.

Personal bio: Danny Wilkins is a 1972 graduate of Millbrook High School and a 1976 graduate of Barton College. He is a member of the Millbrook Service Club and the Barton College Athletic Hall of Fame. As a teacher at MHS since 1982 he helped to start the Paideia program in 1987 and the girls’ soccer team in 1983. He has coached the boys’ team since the fall of 1983. He presently teaches World History and Paideia with Mrs Cindy Kisner. He is married to the former Dean of Students Mary Ellen Taft.
