Personal Bio  I was fortunate enough to have graduated from one of the most prestigious high schools in North Carolina – J. W. Ligon Jr-Sr High School.  After attending North Carolina Central University, I received a Bachelor of Science degree.  Being blessed with 3 wonderful children, I am also blessed with three adorable grandchildren.  I was married to an Air Force Officer and had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, and Japan.

I obtained my Master of Education degree at Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL.  Not only have I been teaching at Millbrook for almost 20 years, I also completed my student teaching at this school.  The student clientele has changed over the years, and so has the landscape.  But a spirit of friendship and professionalism have survived the rebuilding of MHS.

The students we serve are the reason we’re here.  Hopefully these students will begin to realize the potential they have to become successful and productive citizens in our society.  I believe in the almighty power of Prayer, and thank God for every day of my life.
